KairosPDX is an education program that addresses Portland’s persistent achievement gap for students of color through innovative, solution-focused teaching methods, community collaboration, and family partnership.
Construct helped launch the KairosPDX learning academy with general operating funds to support the school’s three critical elements:
A dynamic leadership team uniquely suited to serve the multicultural student body
Mutually reinforcing programs including, an early learning network, a family connections program, and the K-5 Learning academy
A combination of the progressive pedagogy of Reggio Emila and the education philosophies of Lisa Delpit, and Howard Gardner
Construct supports dynamic new education programs with early stage funding. We look for programs run by distinguished leaders who are approaching old problems with next solutions.
